Have the Backoff system on my 2007 and works great. Everything on rear lighting flashes a few times when brakes are engaged. Warns everyone but my wife, that I'm slowing or stopping.

Here is the BackOFF Brake Light Module that I think will work for my bike. It is rated at 10 amps and says it will drive up to 3 1157 bulbs. It also says it will work with LED lights which is good news since the '04 Roadies have an LED cluster brake light. Can someone verify that this is the correct unit for my bike. That's the exact same one I run and I have both LEDs and incandecent bulbs on the rear. Works great!

I had that one on my 06 and it worked fine for a year. At 2 months past the one year warranty it burned out. So I got the one from Kuryakyn in Sept. of 07. It's been working fine since.
But as with most things you can have good and bad. Just my experience, worth about .02 cents
