Problems tuning my fuel processor I think. 2 Years, 1 Month ago
08 Roadstar 1700 w/ 1800 miles

Put on some Cobra slip ons lase week and had a ton of popping and cracking during deceleration. I installed the fuel processor this morning and took off for a ride.. thoughout the day I adjusted by increasing the green switch a little at a time.. I have increased it to ten now and im still having a little popping and crackin, but not nearly as bad. Im having some hesitation now when i accelerate also, (but only when i open it wide). I just started to increase the second setting, it is at 5 now.. Any suggestions?

I put on the FI2000 w/ o2 sensors..

BTW thanks for your help in advance...

Do I really have to say this, again?

1. Take off the AIS plumbing.
2. Take of the FI2000 and put it on Ebay. The 2008+ doesn't require it. It should run perfectly without it.

I'm pretty sure that if you do #1 and #2, you'll be back riding with a huge grin on your face...

And please check for air leaks with the slip-ons. I had a pair of Roadhouse slip-ons a couple of years ago and had the popping. Turned out to be the pipes weren't on tight enough. jmho.
