Well, it appears the planets finally aligned and the Gods are looking favorable upon me as my parts finally made it to the painter today.
Base coat will be HoK BC25 Black.
The flames and skull will be done in BC02 Orion Silver + MBC02FF Metajuls Platinum (fine) and topped with KK08 Tangerine Kandy. The Metajuls will give it the flake effect without the need for multiple clear coats to bury the flakes (less chance of chipping).
The bordering stripes will be the Orion Silver with Metajuls Platinum (no candy). |

ROFL! I had to drill two holes for that center bolt on the backrest as the first one was a little high. Ended up just making the two holes one long one since the pad kind of pivots into place.
BTW, I think I cursed your name a few dozen times while trying to get everything bolted together. My tour pack mount was really tight fitting into the sissybar supports so I ended up using the BFH to loosen her up a little to make assembly easier. Fits like a charm now. haha

Jim.....Hey bud I'm sorry it was a tight fit, I had one of my welders at night weld it and it sounds like he didn't use the weld fixture I made so there wouldn't be that problem, if its a little wide you can use some thin nylon washers between the backrest brackets and the fender
