You have found the best place on the web to talk Road Stars. You meet the best people on the RSC.
Don't forget to buy chrome.
And you can ask away there is more information about the Roadie right here, on the clinic, just short of the factory and sometimes the factory is wrong.

This is a great place and I've learned way more than I've contributed here. Here's a suggestion- the Roadie is a big bike. And I agree that off-road experience is a big plus when it comes to street riding. But on the street you need every advantage you can get. Consider taking a MSF-based course as a brand new road rider. They will teach you things you'll otherwise take years of riding to figure out. I took the Riders Edge course from my local HD dealer (a Christmas present to myself, and it was on special for $200.00) The instruction was top-notch, the HD propaganda was minimal, and not a day goes by that I don't use something I learned there. There are similar courses offered about everywhere, and I'm sure it made me a better rider. One of the reasons there are so many big bikes like the R* out there for sale with low miles is that someone buys one, has a close call, and gives it up. Preparing is a good way to avoid being one of those guys. Just my .02 worth...
