Just put one of these on this winter with a 9" shield. At 5'8" I'm just looking across the top of it but my seat has been lowered an inch. I ordered it with the quick release brackets which mounted right up to the stock silverado holes. Only a few hundred miles behind it so far but I like it, less buffet around the sides and a little protection for the hands, off and on in just a few seconds. No passengers yet so can't answer that one.

Do you have a pic? I'm trying to decide on the 9" or the 12". I run with a Large Silverado windshield set to the highest and look through. Don't want to be at the line with the 9 or 12 but want to see how the taller windshields on the batwing looks like. Thanks.

I mounted a Memphis Shades Bat Wing with a 9" windshield on my stock 03 with the quick detachable mounting brackets. I'm 5 foot 10 and originally had alot of vibration which I attributed to the additon of the windshield. The wind hit the top of my helmet also. I experimented with different height adjustments and eventually added four stainless steel washers between the triple tree and windshield mount using longer bolts. This caused the fairing and windshield to sit up straighter and stopped the vibration and I get no wind on the top of my helmet. I can see over the windshield very easy and get no wind in my face. Passenger (the wife) gets some wind on the outside of the shoulders but no strong wind in the face or helmet top.

As a side note just had the bat wing painted to match the bike.

Hope this helps.
