K&N air filter question 5 Years ago
I have a BAK with K&N air filter on my 01 Roadie. While washing & re-oiling the filter yesterday, I wondered if the K&N filters have a maximum useful life; i.e., how many times can you wash & re-oil?

I don't know about the one for the roadstar, but the one in my truck is guaranteed for 1 million miles

The million mile warranty is all I know, but there is really little to wear and with care the filter should last longer than any other part. I have never worn one out. I have used them in many of my bikes and cars since the 70's, never seen one that did not clean up and go back into service, but have not tested the million mile warranty.

The warranty say's one million miles or ten years whichever
comes first.I agree with cruiserbob with regular care it should last
as long as I'll need it.
