Are you trying to find a smaller tire? I don't know if I would recommend that, you need a certain load range.

You can actually save money by getting a better tire that will last longer. Going smaller might cause it to wear quicker, costing you more because you have to change it sooner.

I have been searching and have a great price on some Avons. I love these tires. I rode them on my last bike and got great mileage. Friend has them on a VTX and also loves them. Handle great, heavy duty and should give you a great bang for the buck.

I found them a jakewilson.com

MT90HB-16 (74H) Avon Venom AM41 Front Motorcycle Tire Black Wall $112.99
150/80HB-16 (77H) Avon Venom AM42 Rear Motorcycle Tire Black Wall $135.99

I don't know how you are going to pay less than $100 for any tire unless it is used.

I think that the best "bang for the buck" is Kenda Kruz. I get about 12,000 miles on a D404 compared to 15,000 on the Kenda. When a tire costs less and goes farther, that is great.
