Pull everything off and mount the plate off to the side, and the bullets in the rear fender mount holes.

Yup. I put in a brace that comes off the subframe down to the bottom to try and take some of the tail wag out of the fibergalss fender.

BTW .... I got stopped a couple of years ago for a vertical sidemount and had to change to the horizontal one.

My next fender is going to have it frenched in. That way I can run bags also.

Won't be till next winter. Need to find a set of bags I like first. Proboably end up with HD bags on it. Then extend the sides till they touch the ground.
