I believe they are plug and play.

Here's what I used. Works like a charm, but it took away the self-canceling function that never really worked like I wanted it to, anyway. I'm all LED, all the time and couldn't be happier!

With the '04, the running/brake is LED. I then added 4 more small LED's as brake lights and mounted them to the license plate bracket. Another LED strip inbetween the tail light and the license plate as a running light.

Finally, I converted the turn signals to running lights/turn signals by installing 1157 sockets. I found red LED bulbs for them, since the lense is clear. All works great!

But, yes, the turn signals flash fast, since the fronts singnals are still stock bulbs. I've been running this way for at least 2 years. Have had no problems and not been pulled over. However, I'm very interested in this 'plug-n-play' electronic flasher. I have a tendancy to over compensate for the flasher by using arm signals as well, before and after this mod, just to be safe.
