You drained both oil drain plugs and only got that much?

Did you drain the oil tank, crank case and oil filter? I usually get a little less than 4 quarts out when I drain. My scoot has never used any oil that I can detect and the dipstick is useless

Have you read the oil change in the tech articles? It will save you a lot of grief. You will see start it after the 2 quarts. And this will help checking. Do not over fill.

You CAN'T trust the dipstick. Forget it and do 4 quarts when you change the filter and drain the crankcase and tank. Add two quarts to the tank and then put the dipstick in and start and run for a few seconds then add the other two quarts. Mount up and ride till next oil change time.
