If you mean the seat horns, why are you thinking of cutting them off? I cut mine, thinking I had to because I was going to cut my seat down. I did cut my seat down but didn't need to cut the seat horns off, so I have less support on the back of the seat.

I have seen some really neat and small seats that still fit with the seat horns. Make sure you need to cut them off before you do.
