Any one know of the latest developments re the new HO stator-reg/rectifier from Electro Sport Industries.....thanks for the comments.............

I don't know what the deal is with production, but I have the prototype on my 03 and couldn't be happier.

I emailed Evan @ Electro-Sport about them a couple weeks ago and never heard anything back. Guess they'd rather focus on making them for new model quads and dirtbikes each and every year rather than offer one for a bike that has 12 years worth of production already roaming the streets.

i have the 05 setup in my 04 and with radio, silverstar headlight and 55 watt silverstar passing lamps no discharge on battery ive noticed.

FYI, Ricks Motorsport carries a H.O. one for the 1600 models.

What is the amp rating on the 05 & up stator??? The ricksmotor says hot new set up but it's only 25amps. I thought the 99-03 was rated at
22 or 23amps???

Well based off comments here

1600- 04 1700 - stator 21amps rec/reg input rating 18amp
05+ 1700 - stator 29amp rec/reg input rating 35amp

Where did you buy your 05+ parts from? I hate to think about what yamaha would want for them.

i got them from timB (parts dealer) on RSR for i think for 315 shipped (stator/rectifier/gasket) and sold my old stuff for 50.00
