safety 1 Year, 12 Months ago
I have only owned the Roadstar a few weeks & I had a young girl pull out in front of me.
You guessed it ...she was talking on a cell phone.

WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG FOR A SENSIBLE LAW TO BE PASSED IN FLORIDA?

I am going to order a headlight modulator today & would like to have your advice on what
unit to buy & who has the best price.

I think I will add driving lights also, but will biuld my own mount. I ordered the 4 3/4" light
shells yesterday for $9.95/ea from JCWHITNEY.

your help will be appreciated.

Don

I drive a truck, Loaded with 80K lbs and can go as high as 112K Gross with a Permit. They pull out in front of me like every few miles and I run with Two bright lights on in daytime. SO I am not sure it will help. I have less people pull out on me on my bike.

I have this, http://www.comagination.com/modulator.htm. I also went with a brighter bulb. It's made a difference.

If I had my way bikes would be equipped with a button like the horn that causes a cell phone to emit a loud squeal and screech in the cell phone users ear when pushed.: laugh:

Yep, I run a headlight modulator as well. It's made by KISAN, plug and play. Just unplug your headlight, plug the unit in, run the wire for the light sensor and plug the wiring harness back in. So simple, even I can do it!

Also helps to wear BRIGHT colors......

Just my $1.98 ( adjusted for inflation )

might want to check this guy out:

http://www.bikerbuddy.net/

he just bought some parts off of me and is very knowledgeable. His modulator is real small and can be mounted with a longer lead he says under the seat or behind side cover.American made too!

I also have the Kisan . Installation does not require any wire cutting . It plugs right into the back of the headlight bulb. It works great and it does make the cagers notice you coming. It's not a total cure for inatentive drivers but it helps.

I also have the Comagination headlight modulator and brake light flasher.
They both really get other driver's attention.
Great investment in your safety for only $84.95 + S&H!

Re:safety 1 Year, 12 Months ago
I have been looking at the recommendations & have another question.
I want to also order a tail light modulator that also converts the turn signals
to tail/brake lights.

I have not been able to find this item. Is this separate from the brake
modulator? Where do mI order this?

Thanks Don
