I posted this in the Technical Area as well. Just want some opinions.



OK this is just me thinking. I've had my share of problems with this too much oil stuff possibly causing SVS. I own a 2 cycle weedeater and a 2 cycle Lawn Boy push mower. What I didn't buy was a Road Star 2 cycle. Is there a good reason why the oil tank is vented into the rear cylinder? My problem is with the rear cylinder missing, backfiring, etc. Would there be any problems with plugging that line at the rear cylinder and extending the vent hose down along the frame under the bike so it will vent down there?? Any thoughts? Suggestions?? A 4 cycle engine isn't suppose to have oil injection let alone oil vapor venting into the cylinder. Does this make sense? I'm just thinking...
