Mine lasted over 30K but any chance of failing is too much a chance for me. I took it off at 30K Pumpless is priceless.

Note for those that relocate:
I think that the relocation was the cause of my pump failure. When it died (at 10,500) I removed it and there was a mark on it which I eventually realized was caused by the swing arm contacting the pump when I hit bumps. I am sure there is a safe way to mount the pump when you relocate, just make sure there is adequate room for compression of the rear shock.

mine failed last summer ~ 31k miles.
37600 and she's still goin without pump and no other 'fuel' mod's

she did vapor lock a coupe times last summer so i'll have to do somthin for that issue soon.

fresh rear pads, crank case & gear/chain lube.
drained 24 oz. out of the rear chain res. and you guys are sayin it ought to have ~ 18oz? i used fresh lucas 90-140 honey... nice and sticky.

sinse i cant get the bottom plug out i just stuk my finger on the hole!
