I found refference to a comment in tech articles where it was said the Mobil 1 filter # was M1-110. Anyone out there to verify this..??

I have it written down as a M108 but I use the K&N-303.

I just did some of my own research and the M1-110 is the longer (3.25 in) of the two mentioned. The M1-108 is a shorter (2.5 in) filter. Both have 20 x 1.5mm threads, 14 psi by-pass valve, anti-drain back valve, 2.3" O.D. gasket. The longer one would be the preferred filter. M1-110 is the better choice for the R*
I got my initial info on Mobil 1 filters - indicating the M-108 was the choice - from a Roadstar chart somewhere on the net. You just cant believe everything you read no matter how well intended.

Amsoil's SMF-103C has been discontinued and no longer available.
Amsoil now provides a very new and improved oil filter with nano mirco fiber technoligy.
New stock number is EaOM-103 blk
New stock number for chrome is EaOM-103C

weislake is where I got my original info from. Not sure I agree with these but all will fit. Here is another place. (Go most of the way to the bottom to find all the better MC filters recommended.

I cant find them locally so i buy a butt load of them through amazon.com
