Dual Exhaust 1 Year, 10 Months ago
Ok, I'm getting ready to make the plunge for a new set of dual exhaust, My problem is i dont know which ones i want to get, Bassani , Freedom, or Roadhouse .... They all have a variation that i like, they are all in the same ballpark on price, So, i thought i would see what everyones opinion is..... Quality, Fit, Etc..Etc...

I can only speak for Roadhouse. I picked up a used older set and hear the new version is even better. Have to say considering these pipes were on another bike for years before mine, they still look great. Getting them on can be a pita, you just have to leave it all loose and start snugging it together. I love the pipes, the look, and the deep mellow sound. Hope that helps.

Personally I like the Yamaha Quadraceptors,

Just that they cover the wagon wheel on the left side.

I'm going to have to add the 4th vote for Roadhouse Dooleys! I just got my set a couple weeks ago and I feel like I have a new bike! GJCARVING said it right on the money about getting them on the bike... leave it loose until everything just snugs right into place, and you'll LOVE the deep mellow tone. Seriously, I can't say enough goodness about the sexyness that are my Dooleys

I'll put in the first positive vote for the Freedoms. I put mine on this spring and LOVE them! Never heard the Roadhouse, but I like the tone of these.

Doubt you'd be dissatisfied with either the RH or the Freedoms. Don't know anything about the others.

I too got mine used off another bike. Happy as a clam with 'em though.

I just put a set of freedom sharktails on mine this weekend. They are a high quality set of pipes. Can't say anything bad about them so far. Pretty easy to install. Really fit alot better than I was expecting. Got them new at a great price. I have the baffles out and man I gotta tell ya I love the sound. My vote is for the Freedom duals. Can't say as for the Roadhouse brand other than what these guys are telling you. I got mine for $679 shipped to front door. If you decide to go with the Freedoms email me at oneperfectrun@yahoo.com and I will give you the contact info for the guy I bought mine from. Hope this has helped.
