Phase one complete - get bike 1 Year, 10 Months ago
Well, after getting jerked around by the shipper for over 2 weeks, I went up to Pittsburgh and picked up my new 2008 myself. Here's a pic of me arriving home with it. So step one complete.

Next steps:

2. Purchase Mustang seat so wife can ride
3. 16 in ape hangers
4. Could use some advise on this... chrome the wheels or maybe go with an entirely different/ unique paint scheme. If anyone has any input, would appreciate it.

Everyone has already been a great help on this forum... fixed my exhaust popping with the AIS fix found here. Thanks

Heh, those things are kinda tricky. Do you have it uploaded somewhere? Flicker, Shutterfly, etc.?

Oh man, you had better lock down the credit card!!
Sounds like you have a plan that will get you started, but there seems to be no end to mods for these bikes.

Welcome to the nuthouse!!

That is a good color, I'd do paint last. Great looking ride!

A Roadie on a trailer.... That is just wrong in so many ways... Don't let it happen again!!

I'd chrome the wheels before I painted it. Paint job on it looks good.

GVR:

That's how we get you hooked. We fix your AIS problem and slowly draw you into our madness...

Same color my 2008 used to be(two paint jobs ago). Memories.

If you need photos of that exact bike with chrome cast wheels, spoke wheels, beach bars, dual exhaust, etc., just let me know. At least you'll know exactly what it'll look like before you invest the $$$. There are some more in my album.

Prepare for some fun.
