Bubbs:

Most of the thicker bars are down-sized to 1" at the riser area.
They'll work fine, if that's the case. No matter how thick the bars are.

Take a look at www.burlybrand.com , click on "handlebars, "metric" & "apehangers". I can get thoes for you for $160.00 + shipping. And the cables & hose are $139.00 for black, $192.10 for SS, + shipping.

I got a set off of ebay that were closely matched to the kong bars from barrons, said they fit harleys but worked great with my set up. Even internally wired them with the stock controls worked slick and looks great

My Kongs work well with after market risers that worked OK with stock bars.

I'm now the proud owner of a new set of 16's. I have plenty of brake line for them, just wondering how much over stock I'll need for throttles/clutch

To keep the same routing you need +10 inches.

So what about going with 14" Burly Bars, would you still use +10 or go with +8? Was thinking that if i went with the +10 I would have some extra left over if i decided to add risers down the road, or would having extra slack be an issue? what about the size of the new brake line? anyone?
