im not concerned with a tach so much its an oil pressure gauge that should come on these bikes from the factory

An oil temp and pressure gauge would be a nice addition also.
Has anyone intalled these on your R*? Do you have pix of your installation?
I would be most interested in a "line of vision" setup (mounted on the handle bars).

Here is where I put my oil pressure gauge. I like it a lot when it the temps are like they are now at 105.

Yes, new tachs DO come cheap, and I installed it myself.

I installed a new Drag Specialties Mini Tach (White Face, DS-244138) that I had purchased from Oneida Suzuki a few years back.

I like having a tach. I installed the Baron's 2" bullet tach on my handlebars and I use it more than the speedo, which is hard to read in sun and glare, (and you have to take your eyes off the road to read it) . An oil-pressure gauge is on my wish-list. Then an oil-temp gauge...
