Did you ever find a fix for this? I am having the same problem. Engine off all the lights work fine. Start engine and the LED running light flicker on/off. Directionals work fine. Sometimes after about a hour+ ride the running will start working. I have a call into Kuryakyn they have not heard of the problem and are getting back to me.
Thanks
Andrew

Yea .... what Curt said ..... but better.

LEDs don't flicker unless they are supposed to so you're getting a poor connection somewhere.

I agree LEDs are very sensitive to connection issues recheck you contact point. Be sure your polairty is correct as well.

OK, I check all the wiring last night and it seems right. There are only 4 wires from the bike Ground, Left, right, running lights. I confirmed the operation of each with and they have a good connection. I shot a video of the light so you can see exactly what it is going. Here is the link.

saw the video

I am puzzled

I would bet it is a poor ground connection ..since it is affecting both
LED running lights

Check the black ground wires and make sure they are good..

Watched your video and it is clear that you have good contact by your voltage at the light bar. Have tried removing the light bar and holding it in your hands with the bike running? It really looks like a bad connection inside the light bar that shows up with the bike running(VIBRATING). Your voltage is good at the connection points so it may be time to look to the bar iytself.

I'm having the exact same issue with the Kuryakyn Silver Bullets on the front of my V-star. Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet?

This may help or not, but when I installed my Dyno 3000 ignition box, the driving lamps up front wouldn't work. There was a wire on the ignition box that had to be cut and spliced. I don't know which wire it was, since I didn't do the work. The change is now they work, but they are on when you turn on the key, unlike before where they stayed off until the bike started.

Perhaps there is a wire or something on the ignition box that needs to be changed? I don't know if it affects the stock boxes or not, just another area to look at.

Good luck,
Russ

I call kuryakyn tech support and they told me to install the diode kit. I don't think this will fit it but I do order the kit ($7). I will keep you all updated when I get it installed. I have this posted on a couple forums and I have found several other people having the same problem.
