The bright light (which is for the turn signal) would be on all the time as running lights. The running light wires would go though the relays(normally closed) The relays are wired to the turn signal wires so that the they would flash the lights for turn signal. If I remember right I at one time had the wires reverse so that the bright signal lights were on as running lights and the dim LEDs as turn signals and I did not have the problem of the flashing LEDS. So I think the issue is with the dim running light LEDs.

Tried to switch leads for running and turn signals on led's and no luck. This makes running lights overpower blinkers so you see nothing when they are activated. They just glow brite. Thank you for the suggestion. I am financially tired of this application with lights at 299.00 and mount kit at 30.00 and run turn brake controller at 80.00, load equalizers 20.00 ea. 2 and diode kit and radio shack diodes in line to all cicuits and now new bulbs for driving lights to turn them into running lights at 40.00 for 2 and cb radio noise supressor at 40.00. I just have to close the book on this project and say thanks to all who tried to help. 80+ hrs and about 600.00 invested on lights, I just have to say when. So buyer beware that the low intensity circuit on the running light bar from kuryakyn has issues on some bikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the bars are stock. About the only thing left to change all wires have been run through them though.

Has anyone figured this out...............

or for that matter.........does anyone have these lights and NOT have a problem? I'm looking for something for my '05 and these are the sleekest and least obtrusive - but that won't mean jack if they don't work.

I'm looking for something better too. I was considering this solution, but after reading the problems a while back, I dropped that plan.

However, Kuryakyn is introducing a new line they're calling "Constellation" driving bar, which is due to be avaialable in June-July. This new light bar looks like the Yamaha one, except the lights and turn signals are more bullet shaped. I've already ordered one, but know I'm going to be waiting for a while to receive it. I'm not sure what the turn signals will be (halogen, incand., or led), but I'll let everyone know when it comes.
