The PO removed the tank badges and passed them along to me when I bought the bike. I've toyed with the idea of putting them back on but so far I think I prefer the look without.

At the moment all of the badges and side cover emblems are still on, but If I get my way this winter, I will be taking them off and getting some airbrush work done.

I want to get an airbrush painting of a Wolf in the woods on both sides of the tank, and something else on the side covers, Im just not sure what its going to be yet.

Took them off when I repainted to a solid color. I did not want the tank shape and the gleam of the the metallic paint broken by the badges. Changed my side covers so there went those badges.

I still have Yamaha on both sides of the engine. Helps stop some of the head scratching when I am parked!

Took mine off when I had it repainted. I've always hated the cheap plastic badges. I did have the word "Roadstar" painted in script lettering on the tank though. The important thing is; it's your bike do what you like.
