For those following along or participating, Vance's bike has been finished now.
EDIT NOTE: We are on for delivery Saturday mid day. We are planning to be stands up and headed out at 10:00 am on Saturday. We will be leaving from NoPorks facility in Norco.
Please send me a PM if you plan to join us so I can keep a good head count.
The ride will be approx 4 hours round trip. We are hoping to land at Vance's house around 12:00, after stopping somewhere nearby to gas up for the trip home and allow any locals who want to join us to join in.
We will stopping at a McDonalds near Vance's house so others coming from other locations can join us before we get all the way there.
The McDonalds address is 2605 Yosimite Ave, Simi Valley, ca 93063
Kick stands up from McDonalds if possible will be Noon.

The route we are planning is:
1. Start out going NORTH on HAMNER AVE/I-15-BL toward MARKET ST.
2. Turn RIGHT onto 6TH ST/I-15-BL.
3. Merge onto I-15 N via the ramp on the LEFT toward BARSTOW.
4. Merge onto I-10 W toward LOS ANGELES.
5. Merge onto CA-57 N toward I-210.
6. Merge onto I-210 W via the exit on the LEFT toward PASADENA.
7. Merge onto CA-118 W.
8. Take the YOSEMITE AVE exit, EXIT 29.
9. Turn RIGHT onto YOSEMITE AVE.
10. Make a U-TURN onto YOSEMITE AVE.

We owe a huge thanks to everyone who pitched in, as well as a couple of sponsors who pitched in some parts.
Parts Unlimited (One of NoPorks vendors) called Metzler and shared the story with them. They worked out a deal with NoPork that netted two new tires for Vance's Bike.
Brian called Mike Battles at CCSaddlebags to see if they had any pull off stock bags they could contribute. They didn't, but Mike wanted to help anyway and is sending a brand new set of throw overs that Jim and Brian are going mount to the stock bag mounts. So we are ready to return Vance's bike to him. We all had hoped for either a Sunday or Monday delivery around this coming weekend, but Shirley advised that Vance has suffered a complication with his Chemo treatments and may not be home on those days.
Right now, I'm waiting for a callback from Shirley to work out the delivery day. I will update everyone as soon as I know more.
A few of the folks that pitched in want to accompany the bike home. I want to go as well, and if he can join us Brian wants to go.
I put the word out about what we are planning to do with a couple of local riders groups to see if they want to join us. I think it would be fun to thunder in there, hand over the bike to Vance, get a couple pics of Vance and Shirley with the bike, then thunder out. If we get any response I will update this thread.
Anyone that wants to join in (whether you were able to help or not) please let me know. I would love to get a few Clinic members in the pack.
