tolls??? isn't there E-ZPASS out there. I love it here in MD and on the entire east coast--all the way to Florida. Some tolls even have E-ZPASS only lanes where you stay at hiway speed and pass all the people that don't have it!!

We just got rid of the Tolls in Wisconsin instead I try to avoid the tolls when traveling as much as I can, it's like tipping the cops... can't see it.

Looks like about 750 miles for me if the weather is nice the Tolls will be the worst part. It is all highway Google says 12 1/2 hrs. Wife said we could try for 10

It was a little over 800 for me to go to the fall Meet & Greet in Eureka Springs Arkansas, I split it into two days, spent the first night at Spudwrench's house in St. Louis Mo.
On the way back, I made it to Lincoln IL., but that's only because I left ES late, had to clean up the trailer, get packed, get gas, then took a wrong turn and a small spill on the way back. So give yourself some time, arrive alive!

Live to Ride, Ride to Live! BTW, Wisconsin is a helmet optional state.

Oh ya plenty of time but still hopeing to make some good time on a good ride! And hooray for the helmet option!

OK, update.... Looks like EMU@OZ and his lovely wife Mandy are going to try to make it to the Spring Meet & Greet from Australia! We are working on details, but first things first, we need to find a bike for him to ride!

I know some of you have a second bike, or know someone who might be willing to loan him one. We don't need him spending any more than necessary.
If he fly's into Chicago, he will be fairly close, probably need someone who lives close enough to volunteer to pick them up at Chicago O-hare.

I told him we would pitch in on a room for him and the Mrs. Maybe we can get the local Yamaha Dealer in on this??????

That's cool. I'll help with the room cost. Sorry, I don't have a bike available for him. I Wish I did.

That would be great!! A multinational M&G from the Clinic!! I'll help kick in for the room, can't help with the bike though.

Gram, did you ever imagine the Clinic would ever turn out like it did?

Just heard from Daryl, (EMU@OZ), he said that they are talking about 3 weeks in the US if he can. I think we can show them some nice sights. They are welcome to stay at my house anytime, for as long as they like.

Still working on the bike... like I said, maybe the Yamaha dealer in that area would be willing to loan one??? Wouldn't hurt to ask. tlaccopp??? Give them a shout??

Hello all, if I attempted this ride it would be from Phoenix,AZ to the M&G. I need to break out a map and see how far that is. I have some serious anxiety about a ride that far on my own, call me what you will. Is anyone passing this way? I need to talk to my financial manager (wife) about this before I can commit. I would really like to do this but wouldn't know before December if finances were even available. DANIMAL
