I might be able to make this ride from Tyler depending on a firm date.

I'm in. 3 hour ride isn't bad for me. Of course i'd have to check my callender when a date is set.

Pending the date and my wife being able to ride all the way I may shout at you and see if we
can meet up and ride that direction.

Depending on which way you come some might be able to hook up and ride there as a group. As many as we have in TX and even OK we should be able to get a nice group together. The northern guys can cross several states to a ride in 300 - 500 miles but here in TX you can drive that much and never get out of the state.

I'm (hopefully) in - wish I had seen this topic earlier - D'OH! Waco is only 90 minutes from here . . . and I REALLY need to get away from work!

Mike...I'm from Tyler originally. I get back pretty often. Nice to know there are some fellow Road* riders there!

curt, email me when you get a chance. I got the rates on redwood pavilion. everyone up for this let me know, help me pick a date, may 28? trying to beat the HOT weather. "city of waco parks" I figure noon til 4:00 or longer. that gives everyone three or four hours to get there and same home before darkness falls. now I wish I lived in tyler again, it's close to waco. it took me three and a half hours busting 90 some. next time four hours of legal riding from Houston.I am geting excited about this. ride happy

ok. i know beggars can't be choosers, and I am not coordinating this thing, but I would vote to extend it longer than just one day. Seems to quick.

whitegold, what route did you ride? From Katy I normally run Waco in 3 hours never breaking the speed limit in my truck.

Anyway, I hope the date works out where I can make it.
