What's your occupation 4 Years, 9 Months ago
Probably been asked before, but here goes, what do you do for work?

Me first. I'm a driver/glorified gopher for a plumbing/fountain installation co. If you have seen the centennial park fountain, or the ones at the Tennessee aquarium, including the new river cannons, that's us. Plumbing is ho-hum, can't see through the walls to brag anyway. I also pull our tractor, and get equipment to the sites. I drive 45-50,000 mile per year for the co.

That's me, how about you? BB

Hmmmm, this is going to sound way not-so-exciting:

I'm a communications consultant for the financial industry, helping mutual fund companies, insurance companies, banks, etc. figure out what to say, how to say it, and how best to produce and distribute it. I also do some writing and a ton of editing. It's actually interesting, never a dull moment. Last job was dispatching GE aplliance service technicians (17+ years), part of that time I also worked on appliances.

How do you go from point A to pont B? I left GE in 1996 and went to college for the first time at age 37. Got my Bachelor's in Corporate Communications and started a whole new career at 40. Got my Master's in Publications Design and Creative Writing a tad over a year ago. And after all of that...I still can't type worth a plu nickel.

Assistant Head Nurse at the US Army Burn Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center; Fort Sam Houston, Texas. It has been my honor to provide care and love to TRUE Heros for the past 2 years.
I am in awe of these youngsters. After the initial shower and debridement (which they will never forget because no amount of narcotics is enough)they look up at me and ask "When can I go back, Sir"?
They are heartbroken when I tell them "No more, you have done enough".

Engineering Tech (fancy way of saying Maintenance Man!!) at one of the local hospitals doing general building maintenance. Do basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs, along with picture hanging and anything else you might expect to see on a "honey do" list. Love my job though; been there since July 1983.

In The Wind,
Aaron

Keep the covered loading dock where we park our bikes well swept and free of nails and screws.
