Happy Camper 4 Years, 9 Months ago
O.K. I've done my share of whining and complaining so it's time for some good news.
The roadie has stage one drill out, speedstar comp. air cleaner, ultimate solo seat, driver backrest, and today I moved the floorboards forward 3" and 15 degree tilt up, trailer completed and tested on an 800 mile trip, dog carrier remounted and moved up and life is good.
The bike is running great, the trailer tows like a dream, the camping gear is beside the door ready to load. Tomorrow is laundry and pack day, then Wednesday morning the dog and I will hit the road for 7 to 9 days in the rockies of Colorado.
Wish you all could go with me. Everything done to the bike was done with information from this forum. Thanks to everyone,

Have a safe trip and I am green with envy. Wish we could go
But we will have to wait till September to bust out for a week.
Think of all of us stuck at work and having to do daily house chores.
You’re a lucky guy..
Have fun!

Good luck and have a safe trip.

We know the dog knows how to bail so he should be OK.

I love the mountains so I'm a bit envious of your trip.

Sounds like you're going to have a real good ride. I have a friend who bolted a dog carrier on top of his bike trailer. Dang dog has more miles on a bike than I do

Green with envy is an under-statement. Have a great trip dryriver and be safe. You picked one of the most beautiful times of year to ride there and I hope you get to enjoy all the sights.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. Only way it could be better would be to travel with my friends.

greysnake, she has them. They're called "doggles" and are too cool.
