It still runs closed loop and your mixture is still corrected by the computer.(You must use the O2 sensors) Some people don't like them but I think that's because they weren't properly installed or setup.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access. #385479 cheaperdanaharley (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 8 Re:Drill the Stock Exhaust (stage 1, 2, 3) 2 Years ago   Ok after a few runs with the stage 3 exhaust drill the engine was definately running hot and had to re-jet, Actually ended up with Cobra speedster longs, hypercharger pro, and re-jet, the bike sounds very close to a harley at idle and like a top fuel dragster at highway speed with a nice rumble when you let off the gas. Go to Home Depot, they have a dremel "Cut off" wheel & mandrel, get a couple of them, put the bike up on a jack, and get comfy, it takes a while, but be patient, it will come off. It works fine if you just use a 3/8 or 1/4 drill bit to drill all the way around the weld and through the cone... essentially most of the "weld" is still there once the cone is out, but it doesn't matter. I used a chisel on the big part of the weld after it was all done, but you don't even need to do that..
