too daryl ( emu ) my rotator cuff is messed up, i am going to see what i can do to get my bike up to Beloit so you and the misses can ride!! karen and i will be there on 4 wheels but i think i'm going to tow my bike up so you can partake in the festivities . welcome to america!

G'day Spudwrench, that's a fantastic gesture mate and very much appreciated.

Unfortunately I won't be riding (officialy) on this trip. When we took out our travel insurance we didn't have the option to insure for riding motorcycle with the insurance company we chose. I've since found out that another company does offer this insurance.

We thought that with the luggage for a 5 week trip we'd have trouble carting it on a bike so opted for hire cars.

We are considering a second trip for the future and will definately be taking up motorcycle insurance next time round if it comes off.

Thanks for the gesture mate and I hope that rotator cuff comes good for you soon.

Looking forward to catching up with you and Karen and all those who will be attending.
