Thanks all. The Moonshiner 28 is on our list. We were going last year and had some stuff come up. Had to call it off. We are KSU as soon as church is over. First stop is Vicksburg for the battleground then on to Chattanooga then the Dragon. When I get back, my 2 kids graduate college on the same day in 2 states, 3 hours driving time and the services are 3 hours apart. I don't have that figured out yet. I can't be in 2 places at the same time. My son is a commercial pilot so I am looking at renting a plane. Crazy times. Happy Easter, All! |

Hey, when ya gonna get here and when ya leaving? I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off work... I work at the Harrahs Cherokee Casino and pass the Dragon everyday going to work... if you are here while I am off work, maybe we can meet up...

Hey Grinder.....was at Cherokee last Sunday... rode up US64 from Lenior to Hendersonville. Then ate at the Double dragon Buffett in Brevard. Then cut across Hwy 214 (or it might have been 215) to the Parkway, then up to Cherokee. Came back through Maggie Valley, then I77 home. Great ride. There are endless roads in that area... we have ridden multitudes of them.... will likely go back soon.....

You lucky dog! It is beautiful country and riding around there. Dont hesitate to take some roads that your not sure where your going. We saw the most beautiful stream following this little road over a mountain with waterfalls and all. It was south of the dragaon but don't remember the road# or anything. We were cutting accross to ride some other famous road overthere. Heck my memory is worse than my typing!
