Glad you got some of it done, and got home safe.the weather is part of riding long distances. I still love it. The bad weather could have contributed to your poor milage. You'll just have to go back again and ride the rest

I too am glad to hear you made it back safe and sound. My cousins and I are leaving East Texas on the 29th of May for the Dragon Tail and parts unknown. Can't wait.

For all who really care , there is a real NICE biker campground in Ferguson, NC( very near the Dragons Tail) called The Riders Roost, a great place just to kickback and chill next to a river. They have everything needed to campout. If you aren't into tents they have cabins and even a bunkhouse you can rent.. Look them up on the net. Chuck

1 of the funnest times ever riding was on the Dragons Tail for me. I haven't ridden it on my * yet. But I rhode it on my ninja a ton of times.... sweet times man...
