brake lever sticking 1 Year ago
I replace my stock lever out with wide blade style, problem is after a slight squeeze it starts sticking , i then pull harder causing the brakes to grab all at once. I have taken the lever off 3 times checking for obstructions, i have plenty of brake fluid if that matters, i dont have a clue it was fine before the swap, TIA

Sounds like your pivot point is too tight.

Just take the bolt out and grease it and the area it moves on. Make sure not to overtighten the bolt when you put it back in. A little lever play up and down is ok.

Scotto he is taking about the brake not the clutch the brake pushes a plunger to the master cylinder. *4life remove the lever and look at the surface that pushes on the plunger for the master cylinder. It should ve ver smooth and not have any dips or burs on it. If it does sand the smooth with very fine paper. ALSO the is a rubber boot on the plunger stick a small screw driver between it and the plunger and spay WD40 in to lube it you don't need much to lube it just a little will do.
