i have to agree with the food advice. lou malnati's is AWESOME. deep dish pizza is to die for. and +1 for portillos. but this place is just a biker let down. theres nothing here for bikers but the eats. im not trying to bash chicago, as much as it sounds like i am. im just saying there has to be tons of better destinations than this communist county.

Great food there. I can gain 10lbs in a single weekend there. Don't forget to end the night with a big bag of cheese and caramel mix at Garrett's popcorn.

Well I made it home safe and sound. The only problem was that my fuel gauge stopped working after a fill up until about 20mile into the ride. We missed all of the rain, so I didn't get to try my new rain gear yet (dang it ). here are a few pics. some more
