No, slip-on are notorious for leaks at where they attach to head pipes. Lot's of guys have had this issue with slip ons. if you have the bike in a garage, you can try a smoke test, cigar, cigarette, incense stick, use the smoke around the slip-on joint, see if the smoke gets disturbed. I know a number have tried various sealers as well, but have not heard anyone that had success with it either, unfortunately. I realize slip-ons are one way to customize at a less expensive cost, but......it could be costly if they don't seal up correct.

Ever see a pipe that discolors at that point of a slip-on or connection, an indication of air leak.

i think i found the problem i'm getting a whooping sound from the rear cylinder but i don't know if its a bad adjustment that i had done about month and a half ago from a bike shop that did tranny recall too or svs.
