can i run seafoam 1 Year ago
can i run seafoam in my crankcase even though i have wet clutch i know the can says u can but i don't know if it would make my clutch then slip i think i got sticky valve on the oil side of it so it's either seafoam the crank or remove the heads for cleaning.

i say try the seafoam i put about 4oz in there where u fill the oil, it say on the can 1 and 1/2 oz per quart i believe which would be 6oz, so its not going to hurt anything , but i did run the bike for about 250 miles then change the oil, i was due for an oil change anyway so i killed two bird with one stone, it cant hurt , hope this helps

Just do a shock treatment put 4 oz in a full tank of gas, spray Deep Creep (Seafoam in an airsol can) into the carb while it is running 5-6 times till it almost dies the last time kill the engine with it and let it sit overnight. Next day take it for a LONG ride hitting the limiter every once in a while. Run it a good long ride at 60 - 70 mph as long as you can. Drain the oil and change the filter and fill with ONLY 4 quarts of new oil. If that doesn't get it then down load my SVS cure.

well i called yamaha just to see and they said it won't hurt anything and to do it 50/50 half in tank half in oil just make sure to drain some oil out so it doesn't over fill so i did and now i'll run a whole tank of gas through her and change the oil after but i was thinking if i should do the deep creep too and get everything at once or would it be too much seafoam? cuase i'm getting a whopping sound from rear exhuast from the non-adjustible vavle so thats why i'm trying to do the svs cure now to see if thats my prob or is it a bent valve.

I call SeaFoam magic in a can.
I run 4 oz. in my tank every 3,000 miles and my bike runs like a champ.
