SoCal riders...Who's going?...Ride The Mountain. 1 Year ago

Just curious if any other SoCal riders (Or I guess anybody for that matter) are planning on doing the Big Bear Choppers' Ride the Mountain event? It's June 11th. www.bigbearchoppers.com I did it last year, and had a pretty good time but had to leave early to come back for work that evening. I'm looking forward to being able to stay the whole time this year! |

Yep, I'll be there...heading up w/ a few buddies on their HDs...I've never been to it before. Looking at the pics from previous years looks like it'll be fun.

I have been a vendor at this event 4 times. They have anywhere between 10-20K bikes show up. As they have several ride events such as the poker run ect, they limit the number of bikes for each. So read up on it and if its not too late, book yourself on the runs you want. I say not to late because at my third event, I wanted to take the Mountain cruise the following year and they were already booked. They expected cancellations and told me they would call me in February if space was available. That year the had 15K bikes there, the following year they pushed just above 10k. have fun. I wish I could join you.  |

Bigflip - I'm not sure where you are located. Are you guys planning on doing the poker run? And if so, starting from the bottom of the mountain or at their factory up top? Either way, I'd like to try and meet up with you guys at some point if that's alright?
Dragoon - Sorry you won't be joining us, but thanks for the heads up. I didn't have any problems getting on the poker run last year, but you are right about the mountain being a sea of bikes that weekend! I'll be taking care of reservations this week for myself and and another buddy just to be sure.
Boatmark - Would love to ride with you again if you end up making it. You've got a PM.
