I've rode there twice and there aint a thing wrong with trailering! As long as you don't drop the bikes 50 mils away and ride in Hell last year I rode out and tent camped in Spearfish, you'll NEVER catch me doing that again

I have been to Sturgis every year but 1993 and 2009. I have ridden out every year and plan to do so this year. I have heard all the comments about trailering to the rally and at some point I will probably not be able to ride all the way out and back at which point I will trailer my bike. I stay every year in a tent and have been camping in Belle Fourche instead of Spearfish when I used to came. I stay for a little over a week and have no problem camping even when it rains, 1998 comes to mind, three days of rain, wow was that a blast!!! It dont matter how you get to Sturgis, JUST GO and have a good time. RIDE SAFE!!!!!!!!

I have never been there. There are these four guys from Miami I ran into and they were telling me there all four go every year together. They ride there bike all the way and do not stay in Hotels. The camp in tents ina KOA. Take showers and back on the road. Now that is hard core
