well im on a '11 street glide now (doing 26" front rim), but it was under 1g for it (air cylinders/compressor and shorter springs) - talk to Paul @ nativecustombaggers.com - he might be able to hoko up a roadstar that way. same place dead got his fender and lids from.

dead you got a color picked out yet? (i might have missed it in this thread)

I'm doing black cherry again but slightly darker metallic. I got busy with work but should be going to paint by tax day.

I'm finally back to work on the Roadie after heavy work and life items and am now anxious to "get 'er done".

- Modified Cycle Visions bag bracket (close in design to Bad Dads)
- Trimmed Bad Dad fender (my bags have 3.5" stretch)
- Installed IFR Frames plate frame (sweet, double row LED's, now avail for Bad Dad R* fender, give Kenney a call)
- Cut front fender tabs on Long Boy fender to match spacer shape
- Mocked up wiring harness for rear lights, signals, and frame (rear signals not working, battery may be too low for Kury RTB or the Trick Flasher)
- Cut spacers for Tricky shock alignment
- Received new air line and two new fittings from AirRideFittings.com
- Received new Ferodo Sintered pads for YZF-750 front caliper
- Received Speed Bleeder for YZF-750
- Received chrome fork legs/tins/risers from RSR member
- Putting parts in boxes to take to painter
- Mocking up exhaust mod
- Removed stock front brake lines and hardware
- Measuring for new bars/apes, lines, and cables
- Never ends....

Front fender mock to cut tabs, spacers taped in blue

Front fender tabs cut to match spacer shape

Bad Dad fender cut prep

Bad Dad fender cut complete (pre sanding), IFR Frame install prep

IFR Frame installed

IFR Frame, Bad Dad fender, Top Shop bags test fit and spaced

IFR Frame double-row LED, Bad Dad fender, test lighting

Lookin good! Can't wait to see the result!

I saw the lights you have on the fender, and it reminded me of something else I saw.
Bagger nation (http://www.baggernation.com) has some SLICK flush mount light solutions. basically trace, cut, epoxy in place. Dunno if its too late for you to use on your project, but lights are always a good thing!

Thanks Toast.

It's kinda' hard to see in the pics but the LED's are flush. Native Custom Bagger put them in for me and they are in smooth as glass. I can't even feel where the fender and lights meet. I am thinking of having them cleared to have them invisible when off.

Resolved the rear signal issue. It occurred to me that I was testing the rear harness to the brake/signals and license with the instrument cluster off the bike. Once I put the cluster back on the signal function returned.

Cut spacers for Tricky shock alignment

Where are these spacers and why do you need them?

Hey Doc...I should have added more detail.

I am trying out a previous generation Tricky shock that was on a demo/shop bike. Like the Bike Boar air shock the older Tricky's require spacers to take up the space between the arm/bones and the front of the shock on the collar. The newer generation Tricky's that you and others have are wider at the shock connection point so spacers were no longer needed.
