Yogi,
I assume you have a "rail" system holding your hard bags on? I lowered my Midnight Star 1 1/2" in the rear and I'm having problems with the rail hitting the belt drive cover. Do you have your bike lowered in the rear? If so, what type of shock or spring to do have and does yours hit the belt drive cover?
I like the look of the rear dropped so I would prefer not to put it back to stock height. I was thinking about an air ride shock but it seems the overall ride quality can suffer.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks

Hello Midnight,
Mine is not lowered. I used the standard brackets and welded it till it was firm enough. I dont have pictures of it but I will post some as soon as I have the bags of. This will take a while because I am leaving for Munich Germany for a rally this wednesday and a short holiday.
I want to lower mine as well but I am araid of scraping the ground with the bags.Isnt that the case?, if not I will lower it as well.

Yogi,
I have not scraped my hard bags, I have scraped the rear fender overlay though, but I have gotten to the point of knowing when to slow down going over a big bump......
