huskerbob it amazes me that so many say you have no right to an opinion. it seems to me that you and i are the only pro road star people in this fight. everyone else is apparantly a closet hd schill. the amazing thing is were the outcasts on a ROAD STAR WEBSITE. and how exactly are we supposed to "if you dont like something on this site, dont read it"? how are we supposed to know if we like it or not until we read it? DUH. this is getting way out of hand. shame on those who put down people on this site for being pro roadie. and if being pro roadie is anti harley, then so be it, again, ITS A ROAD STAR SITE. why does no one get that?

Guess I missed the part where someone said that HDs were better than RSs. Don't get the part where if I like something else, in addition to-not exclusion to, I'm a traitor to the first. Why that's be like saying that just because I enjoy a beer every now and then, I'm not really a scotch drinker!!!

What Ultra's doing sounds like the way I'd go if I had the funds (and a barn to actually hold a stable in the first place).

Can you make a RS that is almost exactly like an EG? Apparently so, Ultra already has one.

Does that mean it is one? No.

Does anyone here really think the RS is the be all, end all, best thing on two wheels on the planet for types of riding? Certainly hope not.

Husker - love those wheels! Lemme know if you're ever down in the Queen City. I'll be glad to hop on the RS and meet you for drink.

Ultra - good luck with the new ride if you end up getting it. I don't myself getting the the left coast, so I'll just have to raise my glass to you from here.

Jay,
I usually try to stay away from this type of BS; I don't see the point. But, you fn' traitor! If I had the cash, I'd strip my Roadie down to a solo and buy a touring bike. I hope you enjoy it. Too bad some others on this forum don't know how generous you are and just can't be happy that you'll have another bike to ride; perhaps its jealousy. New bike and bride, congrats man!
