Dowel pins 6 Years, 5 Months ago  
After you remove the valve cover and valve cover spacer to adjust the valves,place some Loctite cylindrical bond on the dowel pins to keep them in place while the parts are reassembled.
The dowels are a slip fit and could fall out easy.
I found this out the hard way,one dowel fell out and found it's way down to the bottom of the cranck case.
