Sounds like fun to me. I live in Riverside County also (Temecula). October sounds nice. We could all meet up from So Cal and ride to Arizona.

Ok so put it on your calendars for an AZ-So Cal-NV-NM Meet & Greet for Saturday October 1st in North Central Arizona. I'll start looking for a place to gather. My first thought would be to do it in the Prescott Whiskey Row area as that has a very nice park area right in the middle of downtown, it's easy to find, and it's kind of fun to get to.

Chime in with thoughts and suggestions

Parker is pretty and has some nice riding as well
and Yuma at that time of the year is also pleasant but a bit flatter riding

So How does the date of October 1st sound and feel for everyone?
Location preferences?

I know we can never meet everyone's expectations of locations and dates but we have to start somewhere

Just made this thread sticky in its folder so others can find easily.

I am in (tentatively) for October 1. Would love to see Prescott, Jerome, and/or Sedona. Just some suggestions, anywhere will do.

Thanks for taking the lead Stocked.

Thanks Gram and Robert. I like the Yarnell hill, Jerome, Prescott run, it has lots of twisties and some very scenic riding in usually good weather. I bet if we look at it right we can get Oak Creek on the tail end of it as we are heading back and have it still be a short ride so we have time to gather and BS.

I'll be traveling the rest of August and all of September on the road so I'll be ready for a ride come the first of October.

Yarnell hill, Jerome, Prescott, would be real nice. Last time I rode that was in my brothers Vette! I believe it might be more fun if I wasn't looking at that drop off while driving too fast! It really is beautiful up there. October 1-2 would also work nicely, at least as of now. I'm in......Dan

Stocked,
I agree on Yarnell hill...the last time I rode that was a couple years ago on that ride that we tried to coordinate with you. It was one of the first group rides I'd been on, and I wasn't leading. I think I still owe you an apology because I think we missed you waiting for us at that underpass. I owe you a cold one, at least! THAT was the ride where a newbie rider, a gal on her brand new 650 got off in the gravel on one of the outside turns near the top of the hill and laid her fresh bike down. She got a little beat up, and an ambulance ride home.
