Dyns-Beads = PITA 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Cool, got my Dyna-beads and figured I'd throw them in this afternoon.

Loaded the little bottle, pulled the valve core, hooked everything up and tried to fill the tire.

No joy.. OK, I remembered that you have to tap the stem to get things flowing. Tried that and still nothing. Turned the valve to 12 o'clock and dumped everything back into the bottle. I took a piece of safety wire and fished into the valve stem. The hole at the bottom on this stem is really small. I'm not sure 2 beads could go in at the same time... Hmmmmm.

Found that a piece of 12ga THHN wire would thread in where the core goes. I stripped off all but 1/2 inch of the insulation and screwed it into the core. Took off the outer nut and washer and lowered the core into the tire. That gave me most of the hole to pour the beads inside. Took maybe 30 seconds and the stem didn't even fall off when I pulled it back into the hole in the rim. Success, for once!!

I won't be able to give a good review on the beads, since the tire was about perfectly balanced before I added the beads. I just wanted it to stay that way as the tire wears.

Now, time to take a ride. See ya.

If you have an engraver or some sort of vibrator they go in in a matter of seconds. I actually used a palm sander and inserted a screwdriver behind the clip that holds the paper. I placed the other end on the stem and it practically sucked it in.

I may have to look into these more. Heard about them, just wondered if it was hype. Fireman, sounds like you earned that ride today!

4 weeks ago when I swapped my rims out for chrome ones I didn't want them sticking those weights on my new chrome rims so I had heard good things about the Dyna Beads so I gave them a shot and I have not had any vibration at all and she rides great.

I highly recommend the beads.

Good luck

I put the Dyna Beads in my bike almost four months ago and the ride is still smooth and vibration free as far as the tires go. If your wheels are in line with each other it also should reduce or eliminate cupping.
