Generator cover gasket 6 Years, 4 Months ago
Hi, can anybody tell me if the gasket I am looking for (generator gasket cover, replacing high output stator) is #29 on the exploded view of the crankcase cover http://www.yamaha-motor.com/star/parts/home.aspx Hope the above makes sense, Regards, Chris.

Yes, it looks like that's the one if you want to remove the generator cover. Doc

You must know Good Old Blighty well, if its not raining it's pi**ing down! Bike is on the road all year unless it's icy (girlfriend won't let me have the car). How's the weather over the pond? I get over once in a while. Most of the time it's been in Jan/Feb.

It's around 5 C and raining today. Most sideroads looked like ice rinks this morning.

I hate this neither here/neither there weather.
