Lye, the thing about WA roads that amaze me is how long they last. You don't get the freeze and thaw that we do and the surface of your roads get a rough texture worn down from the "cager" wear. Our roads don't last long enough to get that rough texture worn into the tire grooves like the WA roads have. I was surprised how much quieter the vehicle is if I slide out of the tire grooves up there.

I would tend to think you are feeling the wear grooves on the road.

that is what i was thinking, but it is always better to ask questions.

when i had my R6 i did not feel what i do with this bike and i am guessing it was because the r6 had a wider rear tire.

Call a Yamaha dealer and explain it to the service manager. He will tell you to rotate the tires and let him know if it helped.
