Ok I know this thread has been on going for awhile but here goes. New to the forum and I decided to post a picture of the wife and I rather then just me and my bike. This women has been in my life for 32 years and I would not be where I am with out her so I figure she deserves to been shown.

So you know where Parker is?? Wow I thought being a little town out in the desert nobody would know. Love this time of year. The weather is now cooling off enough to ride comfortably. It's nice to see pictures of people to know who your talking too. I have no problem with anybody seeing my face and knowing where I live. Anybody who rides a motorcycle no matter what make it is, is welcome around me..

I do. I have lived all over AZ, grew up there. My family used to like vacationing and hanging out around the river, and my Dad had a spot he really liked to go to in Parker. We spent a fair amount of time there while I was growing up. I have a lot of very fond memories of the time spent there.

BTW.... If you go to "Forum Settings" at the top of this page, then select the "Forum Settings Info" from the menu, you can drop that pic of your bike into the "signature" field and this forum will add the pic to all your posts automatically.

-Introduction- 4 Years, 8 Months ago
Hello,

My name is Richard Ellis. I just joined this forum, and am looking forward to getting advice on customizing my bike in the future. I started riding in high school, and loved every second of it. I have lots of painful stories of wheelies gone wrong, jumps too far, and just plain young age stupidity. I loved riding my 2002 Yamaha TW200. I then went into the United States Air Force for 4 years, served a tour in Baghdad, Iraq. When I came home I met my now wife Christina, and talked her into letting me get a bike again. She found my current bike on craigslist for very cheap. The owner had practically no miles on the bike, and it was in showroom condition. Needless to say, I jumped on that, and made him an offer of $7,000 for a 4 month old 2006 Yamaha Roadstar 1700. I love my bike, and have so many visions and ideas I would like to incorperate into my bike with time and money.

I'm currently looking for a Fire Dept job, as I was a firefighter in the military for 4 years, and love the career field. I'm finishing up my Paramedic school, and then I'll make some more money for bike improvements. I'm trying to pursue a private pilots license, and someday going to have a B.S. in Nursing, and after that, have no idea what I am going to do. I'd like to design and build my own home, maybe own a few stores or a gas station would be nice. Who knows what path I have in store.

I'll be asking lots of questions so please be patient with me.
