NEW PICS up at Dragger Seats 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Hey All,
Just thought I'd drop a quick note to let you know I have recently updated the photos section of my site. There's now a bunch of new shots of projects I've been building for. Also I am now certain I can build for those who have stretched tanks. (I've been asked that in the past) Have a look!

Nice seats! Also like the web site.
The question is can you do a seat for a Warrior?

Hey Chris,
Thanks for the compliments! I've had a lot of folks asking about a warrior seat, but to date I haven't run into anyone in the area who'd be willing to let me use their bike as a model to build a prototype. What would the warrior crowd be looking for? Looks to me like the stock seat is pretty darn low as it is. Thoughts?

Well lets put it this way the stock seat SUCKS! Can I say that?
OOOPPPSSS I hope I don't get in trouble.
All kidding aside that seat is hard on the back side, if you know what I mean. The seat may look low but it isn't and it makes me have to be on my tippy toes a lot (I'm only 5'6'. I just got back from the Dragon and we had a Warrior fest up there and I don't think anyone had anything nice to say about this seat. Plus Yamaha doesn't really have anything for us.
What to do about it, Well I think it needs something a little softer and maybe shaved down a bunch in the middle and sides. God it has sides for the person with the real wide @$$.

Thanks smhowse!

Never ridden a corbin, so I couldn't tell ya. Though I'd have to believe you'd sacrifice some comfort for the style. Longest trip I've been on with it was around 500 miles. There's no question I was "feeling it" by the end!

Even so, I wouldn't ride anything else for the non touring rides I do. But I'm sure I'm a tad biased!

Chris,
I think part of the problem is that the frame is so blasted wide. Simply to cover the seating area you'd need a fairly wide seat... at least that what I remember of it the last time I looked.
