Please introduce yourselves!! - Again 5 Years, 4 Months ago
Unfortunately, we were unable to import the posts from our last forum when we made the changes to this website. One of my favorite topics was the "please introduce yourselves" thread. So here it is again

My name is Steve Graham, and I'm a Roadieholic....

I am a Network engineer, currently transitioning into the Real Estate industry. After twenty years of being a Network engineer and traveling throughout this country, I am opting for something that will allow me to spend more time at home (Corona, CA)

Father of two children, one is 17 (John my son - posts under GRAMJr around here) and the other is 22 (My daughter Coila). My daughter is living in London, England for the summer, then returning home in the fall to finish her bachelors degree. She is planning to graduate at the end of the fall semester.

John is a mess (a good one) and pretty typical in his demeanor and motivations for a 17 year old. He loves bikes, but hasn't ridden for a while. I bought him a 250 to learn to ride on, and he had an accident. Fortunately not hurt too bad, but enough to keep momma from approving his riding for a while. Even though he was hurt in the accident, he still loves to ride, and goes out with me whenever he can.

I learned to ride when I was 15 on an old BSA Star 250. I used that as my primary transportation for quite a while. Graduated from that up to Yamaha enduro, then to a Suzuki GS400. That took me well into my young adult years. After having children, I took a break from riding in the interest of not worrying my wife to death while the kids were small. Got back into it about six or seven years ago with an older Goldwing. Didn't take long to realize that cruisers were a lot more fun to ride, and that brought me to the Road Stars.

I haven't looked back since

Looking forward to hearing about everyone else..

EDIT NOTE: I never imagined we would reach this point, but now that this thread is approaching 1000 posts, its actually putting some strain on the server, so we are going to have to lock it to keep it out of our "new forum posts" column. I would invite anyone who has not posted yet to do so in the Introductions folder just we have been doing in this thread. - Gram
