#437861 RSTAR99 (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 155 Need longer front brake hose 6 Months, 1 Week ago   Anyone know where I can purchase a longer front brake hose, the one going to the master cylinder? I need one about 28" long. Stock measures at 22" long. I put different handlebars on is why I need the longer one. When I put on the 40" wide apes, I used the leftover rear brake line I had from when I moved my floorboards forward 3.5"...works like a charm. I just coiled the little extra behind the tree & zip tied it. Works like a charm...but then I'm frugal. The line to the master is the in lower right of this pic: I have a tendency to replace these with banjo fittings and 3an brake hose. If I change bars again I only have to change the hose and not the banjo fittings. Though you'll get a little more than $25 in it this way. I pick stuff up at Summit Racing.
